Venom
Une navette spatiale du projet Life, mené par le très riche scientifique Carlton Drake s'écrase en Asie du Sud Est, libérant des formes de vies extraterrestres contaminant la population locale. Certains spécimens, néanmoins, sont rapportés à San Francisco, dans les locaux de la société de Drake. C'est dans cette même ville qu'Eddie Brock, journaliste rétif à toute forme d'autorité, se livre à une interview sans concession de Drake. Cet exploit lui vaut d'être renvoyé sur le champ, tout comme sa fiancée, Anne Weying, avocate, accusée d'avoir collaboré avec Brock.

So many questions. Hopefully this is just due to poor trailer edits, but what the hell is the tone of this movie? It's all over the place. The voice, they're going to need to tweak this or add subtitles, it took me a couple listens for some of the symbiote diologue (don't think I'm alone here). And I'm sorry guys, but these effects were terrible—specifically the CGI. Sucked me right out of it. Still face close-ups were awesome, but the lighting and movement animations... yikes. I know that gets tweaked but it's not that far away. That climax shot of him and Riz looked straight up half-finished. Hoping I'm proven wrong when it hits theaters."
